Co-Founder & Lead Strategic Hypnotherapist

Rob is known for his calm presence, practical guidance, and deep understanding of how thoughts drive behaviour. His journey with hypnotherapy began at 19, when just a few sessions helped him overcome public speaking fears and exam anxiety a turning point that quietly shaped his future. After a successful career in business consultancy and finance, he saw firsthand how mindset often limits potential more than ability.

Driven by a lifelong fascination with human behaviour, Rob earned his Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy from the Institute of Applied Psychology. Today, through Mindshift Mentors, he helps people get unstuck and move forward using Cognitive Pattern Reprogramming a practical, present-focused approach delivered through Strategic Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnotherapy to support meaningful, lasting change.

Steve Nelson

Co-Founder

Before co-founding Mindshift Mentors, Steve struggled with constant overthinking. As a business owner balancing long workdays and family life, sleepless nights became the norm his mind stuck in loops of stress, deadlines, and unfinished conversations. Despite efforts to switch off, peace felt out of reach.

Everything changed when he was introduced to Cognitive Pattern Reprogramming through Rob. Unlike traditional approaches, it was practical and focused on breaking unhelpful mental loops in the present. Experiencing that shift firsthand inspired Steve to help others like him busy but overwhelmed regain calm, clarity, and better sleep through Mindshift Mentors.
