One A4 page. Print from your browser with margins set to none and background graphics on. Two data-handling facts are marked "confirm with Johannes" on the page itself and must be resolved before this is handed to anyone.
For a psychologist, GP, dentist or allied health practitioner deciding whether to hand a client the free-trial handout. Facts only. Nothing here is a clinical claim.
Cognitive Pattern Reprogramming is an integrated method drawing on Clinical Hypnosis, Strategic Psychotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming throughout each session, delivered as guided audio in the MindShift app. Clinical Hypnosis creates a highly focused state of attention. Within that state, Strategic Psychotherapy works with the patterns driving the problem, and NLP techniques are used throughout to interrupt unhelpful patterns and anchor more useful responses. Created by Rob Edmonds, who holds a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy and is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner; every session is written by him and every adult session is voiced by him. The listener stays aware and in control throughout, and it is designed to sit alongside anything else they already use.
Aimed at adults with stress, worry and overthinking; sleep onset and maintenance; teeth grinding alongside dental care; habit triggers (smoking, vaping, alcohol, gambling, late-night eating); menopause-related sleep and irritability; the spiral and crash around adult ADHD, alongside existing care; the alertness that outlasts a hard stretch.
Not for acute crisis or active suicidality; psychosis; PTSD as a treatment target (the relevant pathway addresses sleep and settling, not trauma); children, other than one bedtime-story pathway used with a parent present; anyone whose clinician has asked them not to use it; anyone needing a diagnosis, medication review or treatment plan.
No clinical trial of the MindShift app or of Cognitive Pattern Reprogramming has been published, and we make no clinical claim. The sessions draw on the creator's training, set out in his two published books, and on the general literature on repetition and automatic responses, which is not cited here because a general finding is not evidence for this product. The honest description is self-guided support, not an evidence-based treatment. A client's report of change is their experience, not a claim we make.
